Who we are
Ferylox Ltd ("we", "us") is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. We are a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 17456892. Our registered office is 4-6 Greatorex Street, London, England, E1 5NF.

What personal data we collect
What we collect depends on how you deal with us.
- Enquiries. Your name, email address, phone number (if you give it), vehicle registration (if you give it) and the content of your message.
- Orders and trade accounts. Your name, business name, billing and delivery address, contact details, the goods you order and your order history.
- Payments. If you pay us, the payment is handled by our payment provider or bank. We do not store full card numbers.
- Technical data. Our website host may keep basic server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and reliability.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
How we use it and our legal basis
- To answer your enquiry or quote for a part. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interests in running our business.
- To process and deliver an order, and handle returns and complaints. Legal basis: performing our contract with you.
- To keep accounting and tax records. Legal basis: legal obligation.
- To keep our website and systems secure and to prevent fraud. Legal basis: our legitimate interests.
- To send marketing emails. We will only do this with your consent, or where the law allows us to contact existing customers about similar products. You can opt out at any time.
Transfers outside the UK
Some of our service providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, we make sure an approved safeguard is in place, such as a UK adequacy decision or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected.
- Enquiries that do not lead to an order: up to 2 years.
- Order, invoice and payment records: 6 years, to meet tax and accounting requirements.
- Marketing preferences: until you withdraw consent or ask us to stop.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your data, in some circumstances;
- ask us to restrict how we use your data, in some circumstances;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
- receive your data in a portable format, where it applies;
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on it.

Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal data from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of sending data over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send us sensitive information, such as full card details, by email.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, or by phone on 0303 123 1113.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed.
